Affiliate Disclosure
Effective from 5 November 2026
Skin Scope is free to use. It is funded by affiliate commissions and sponsored placements from marketplaces. This page explains how that works and what it does and doesn't change.
Affiliate links
Many links from Skin Scope to marketplaces are affiliate or referral links. If you click one and then buy, sell, deposit or sign up there, the marketplace may pay us a commission or another reward. It costs you nothing extra — you pay the same price as you would going to the marketplace directly. Some marketplaces also give you a bonus or discount through their referral programme; any such offer is set by the marketplace, not by us.
We don't have an affiliate arrangement with every marketplace we list. Marketplaces are included because they sell CS2 items, whether or not they pay us.
How offers are ranked
The offers on an item page are sorted by these rules, in order:
- lowest price first;
- if prices are equal, the marketplace with more listings for that item first;
- then the marketplace with the higher Trustpilot rating;
- then alphabetically.
Offers whose price data is too old are hidden. Whether a marketplace pays us a commission has no effect on this order, on the prices or listing counts we show, or on whether it is included.
Promoted offers
One marketplace may pay to appear in a highlighted spot at the top of the offers. That offer is always marked "Promoted". It shows the marketplace's real price — it isn't changed — and it may not be the cheapest. The cheapest offers are always listed below it.
Links
All links to marketplaces are marked with rel="sponsored" for search engines. When you click one we record an anonymous click, as described in our Privacy Policy.
