1. Who we are

Skin Scope (cs2skinscope.com, the "site") is operated by Nejc Miholic s.p., Ješenca 23f, 2327 Rače, Slovenia ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected]. Full details are on our Contact & Legal Notice page.

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What the site is

Skin Scope is a free information and price-comparison website for Counter-Strike 2 items. It shows item details, images, prices, price history and offers collected from third-party marketplaces. You don't need an account to use it, and anyone may browse it.

3. We don't sell anything

We don't sell, buy, trade or hold any items, and we don't process payments. When you click an offer you leave the site and go to the marketplace's own website. Any purchase, trade, deposit or account you make there is between you and that marketplace, under its terms, prices, fees and age requirements. We are not a party to it and can't help with orders, refunds or disputes there.

Marketplaces set their own rules, including minimum ages (often 18). If you are under the age a marketplace requires, don't use it. If you are a minor, ask a parent or guardian before buying anything anywhere.

4. Prices and data

Prices, offer counts, ratings and other data come from third-party sources and are refreshed periodically. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and a marketplace's final price can differ because of fees, currency conversion, taxes or item condition. Prices shown in currencies other than US dollars are converted with daily exchange rates and are approximate. Always check the price and item details on the marketplace before you buy.

Nothing on the site is financial or investment advice. Past prices don't predict future prices.

5. Affiliate links and sponsored placements

Some links to marketplaces are affiliate links, and one offer may be a paid placement marked "Promoted". How this works is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure.

6. Acceptable use

When you use the site, please don't:

• break the law or help anyone else do so;
• attack, overload or disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission, or get around any access limits;
• scrape or copy the site or its data in bulk, or use automated tools that put a noticeable load on it, without our written permission;
• try to access the admin area or any part of the site that isn't meant for the public;
• generate fake clicks on offers or otherwise manipulate affiliate or click statistics;
• publish loadouts with loadout or author names that are offensive, hateful, sexual, harassing, contain personal information or advertise anything, or manipulate loadout likes (for example with scripts or by repeatedly clearing cookies).

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules. Loadouts you publish are public; we may hide or remove any loadout at our discretion, and you can ask us to remove one you published.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, code and our own compilation of data belong to us. You may view the site and share links to it, and quote small parts with a link back to the page.

Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike 2, CS2, Steam and related names, logos and in-game images are trademarks or copyrighted works of Valve Corporation. Marketplace names and logos belong to their owners. They appear on the site only to identify the items and services being compared, and their use doesn't mean those owners endorse us. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, write to [email protected] and we'll look into it promptly.

8. Third-party websites and content

The site links to marketplaces and other websites, and shows a 3D item preview provided by a third-party service. We don't control those websites and services and aren't responsible for their content, availability, security or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. Availability and changes to the site

We provide the site free of charge and as it is. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time, and we don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

10. Liability

As the site is a free information service, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by using or relying on it — including decisions to buy, sell or trade items based on prices shown here, and anything that happens on a third-party marketplace.

This doesn't limit our liability for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that can't be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your mandatory statutory rights.

11. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies we use in our Cookie Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the site changes. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Disputes will be decided by the competent court in Slovenia for our registered seat. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in its courts where the law allows.

14. Other

If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
